Christmas

It was a wonderful Christmas. We had my side of the family here almost all week. It was wonderful. We went to folsom had wonderful pizza. Lots of good foods to eat. Went to Pullock Pines to play in the snow. Had our surround sound installed so it is now true surround sound. Had lots of gifts anf wrapping paper here and there. All wishes were realized and many great memories were made. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. Our children had a great time too. We hope everyone had a great holiday!

So my computer for some reason is still not working just right. But I wanted to add some pictures of what we have been doing. So hope it works.

PaPa R is a baker by trade. He baked this beautiful Ginger train for the kids to decorate. Thank Heavens for grandparents. Since having Baby A my time is tied up with him. So this is a tradition at our house to decorate a ginger house, but is train is even better. Little B loved eating all the candy!

Decorating the Tree

We seem to have made it a trdition to put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving. The kids were very excited this year to put up "their" ornaments. They each get one every year. Sometimes I let them choose and sometimes I just buy it for them. We had a fun day setting up the tree and getting ready for Christmas.

Thanksgiving

So I know that it is now December and my tree has been up since the day after Thanksgiving, I still felt like I needed to post about our Turkey Day.


We celebrated at home and I did some cooking. Everything went well. The only mess up was I forgot to get "the pink stuff" salad out of the fridge until we were finished eating.

I have so much to be greatful for: Just to name some,

My Husband - he is my best friend, a wonderful husband and a great example

My Children - Each one is unique and teaches me something new

The Gospel of Jesus Christ - Where would I be without it

My Family - My mum, bro, sis, aunties, cousins - all wonderful people

The Beach - is a wonderful beauty that was created for us

My home - May not be the newest, best house but it is HOME

My Friends - who are examples and give me encouragement

My Country - I am free to be me

My computer is still crazy! But hopefully we can get it working tonight and I can post pictures soon.

Darn Computers

So I was going to post some pictures of Thanksgiving but our computer is crazy and I can't seem to do that right now. Hopefully soon.

I am feeling greatful today that I was able to get my home mostly clean. And that the baby is sleeping. Going on almost one and a half hours. A daytime record for him. Hopefully he and I are settling into a routine so that our lives will run a little more smoothly.
