The "Little" Graduate

Now our sweet little Princess has "graduated" from Kindergarten. I really don't like calling moving from Kindergarten to 1st grade "Graduating" (and I'm a Kindergarten teacher). I think it should just be a "Celebration". Don't get me wrong, these little pumkins learn a lot and go through a lot to finish.. it is amazing what the state of CA expects a 5 year old to be able to learn and do injust 176 days of instruction. But she did it and she loved it. And now it is on to 1st grade!

B-Town Trip

So we went to B-Town for my sister in laws graduation from Dental Hygene School. Of course I took no pictures of the graduation. We are very proud of her! It was a fun quick trip down to see our family. Baby A did good traveling and so did the other kids considering it is about a 5 hour drive. So enjoy the pictures I did take.

We visited with family. Went swimming. Had a BBQ and ate too much food. Went to the graduation and have an overall wonderful time. I even got to see my brother who I hadn't seen since February. We had a long, long drive home but all was well and we made good memories.

Baby A - First Foods

So Baby A has been eating "food" for almost a month and a half. Here are some cute shots of him first trying out some food. The kids think its funny to watch him eat. Especially if it is something he has never tasted. They also like to help feed him. He loves to eat and can now eat an entire jar of 2nd foods in one sitting. Our baby is growing!

Little Princess-Worm Digger

If you know Little Miss K she is all girl and princess. So I was surprised the other day before school when she ran in the house with this little guy in her hands. She was so excited! You go girl because no way does mommy like to dig for little critters.

School Awards

Child number 1. His award was for Citizenship. His teacher was not there so it is a sub in the picture.

Little Miss K also got an award for Citizenship the same day as her big bro. And since he is the historian for the school he was able to be there for her awards. She also got a prize for the most laps jogged in the jog a thon the week before. A jumprope, little junks and a gift certificate to Chillis!

Way to go Kids!

Cub Scout Awards

So Child Number one is in Cub Scouts. He really enjoys it. Daddy and I not so much. But a friend of mine said a few Sundays ago, "You better get used to it. You have to many boys to not like it." So my attitude is slowly changing and we are getting used to it.

Here he is receiving an award. I can't remember which one. Wolf I think.

So when the boys get an award the moms get a pin. It is placed on the mom upside down. So then your scout has to do something good to get the pin turned the right way.
We are proud of you Nano!

Baby A at four Months!

So I know that these pictures are old since he just turned 7 months Saturday, but hey they are still cute.

Kaylie's Dress

So my wonderful friend showed me how to make this dress. I love it and I sewed almost all of it without her help. I still have fabric to make her another one but need to find the time.
I even made a matching hair clip!
