What did I do Today?

So my sweet littlest one has a double ear infections. So needless to say not sleep going on here for the past three nights/ days. He just wants to be held. But today he took a long nap - 2 hours. That is long for him even when he is feeling well. So I thought what can I get done?

Well I got 2 loads of laundry done, my kitchen cleaned and the counter/bar cleared off. Bills paid inventory of food in the freezer and once he awoke I managed to get homework with kids finished, a story read to rascal #3, snacks for kids after school, read a few blogs, have a child practice the piano and read a few blogs. Also got some shredding done. But now as I write baby A is awake from his very short PM nap and crying. So I must go.

I just told myself I need to reflect each day on all that DID get DONE and not reflect on what is still left to do.

Baby A is Growing

He is growing so fast. I can hardly believe that he has been in our lives for 4.5 months. He doesn't like be held and rocked to sleep too much anymore. Now he likes his pacifier, wrap him up in a blanket and put him in his car seat and off to dreamland he goes (rather quickly). He has begun eating cereal just a little for dinner. He Loves it! Still not sleeping all night. But someday he will. Likes to watch what everyone is doing. Smiles like crazy and loves me like crazy.

January Birthday Number 3

Sweet little man. He celebrated with a special dinner of Hot Dogs and Chips (his request). Then presents and cake and ice cream. He had a wonderful time opening up all his loot.

Valentine's Day!

We celebrated late. Last night to be exact. We were able to enjoy a child free dinner. Yes we even left little baby A.(thanks Auntie G) How wonderful it was to have time to tlak to my husband. And to eat my dinner before it was cold. I didn't have to serve any juice, cut up any food, dish out seconds, difuse fights about who is sitting by who at the table. We just got to enjoy dinner and enjoy being together. WONDERFUL!

I'd like to list some of the things that I love about my lifetime love:
1. He has the best blue eyes ever and eyebrows (I am obsessed with eye brows, thanks to my dear dad)
2. I love his hands.
3. He loves me for me.
4. He loves our children.
5. He steps right in when he comes home to help my sanity.
6. Does the best he can to provide for us.
7. Really enjoys being with his family.
8. Loves to read to the kids before bed.
9. Gives great massages.
10. Takes out the trash.
11. Enjoys his calling.
12. Supports me in all I do.
13. Is a great listener and problem solver.
14. Likes to budget/ is good at not spending money and great at saving it
15. Encourages me daily to do my best
